It is worth mentioning that previously the sports betting company Betano had made official its partnership with Lokomotiv Sofia, one of the biggest clubs in Bulgaria. In addition, the company also recently published its agreement with Club Universidad de Chile. Therefore, Betano's expansion in football is in great evidence.
Commercial Director Julio Iglesias Hernando, from the Kaizen Gaming group, which owns the rights to the Betano brand, took the opportunity to comment on the betting company's new achievements. In his speech, Hernando emphasized the agreement with the Romanian Cup.
“Our partnership with this historic football association marks a milestone for Kaizen Gaming and for our brand Betano.”
Furthermore, the Commercial Director of Kaizen Gaming noted that Romania's football scene has always supported Betano's operations in the region, and this was one of the main points for the company to propose the agreement with the Romanian Cup: “We have been supporting Romanian sports since the start of our operations in the country, six years ago this month; Cupa Romaniei Betano consolidates our commitment to the country’s sporting community and football in particular, the sport we all love.”
The agreement between Betano and the Romanian Cup was at the same time that the competition included a new more “dynamic and inclusive tournament format”, and this culminated in a greater number of matches at the event. On this, the president of the Romanian Football Federation, Razvan Burleanu, said: “The oldest football competition in Romania receives the support of Betano the same year it is being reinvented.”
In the sequence, the president of the Romanian Football Federation also took the opportunity to clarify that the new format should be more attractive to the football public, both for clubs and for fans. In his speech, the following was clarified: "By implementing a new, modern, competitive format, one that is much more attractive and more dynamic, we expect to improve the level of play and strengthen the clubs’ relationships with their supporters."
